Ružička Gifts

A complete online store for a handmade-gifts brand: orders, card payments and invoices that issue themselves. Built from scratch — no template, and no monthly platform fees.

Sells at the weekend too

The whole site in Slovak and English (47 pages), products with variants, cart, checkout and discount codes. Customers order and pay on their own, any time — no phone call, no waiting for a reply.

Card or bank transfer

Cards are handled by GoPay and the money goes straight to the owner. Anyone paying by transfer gets a QR code in their email — they scan it in their banking app and retype nothing.

Invoices with no manual work

Once paid, the invoice issues and sends itself, in the correct sequence and backed up in three places. No invoicing software to pay for — it previously required a paid tool.

Customers know what is happening

Automated emails: order confirmation, invoice once paid, notifications. Nobody has to ask whether their order arrived.

The owner runs it herself

A custom admin panel: orders, their statuses, invoices and craft-workshop dates. No call to a developer for every change.

Safe and resilient

Prices are calculated on the server, so nobody can rewrite them in an order. Forms are protected against spam and automated attacks.

Findable on Google

Bilingual SEO, structured data validated by Google, fast loading and screen-reader accessibility.

Almost free to run

The site runs on Cloudflare, so monthly costs are practically zero — only the domain. No e-commerce platform subscription.

About me

One person. The whole site.

I'm Martin Ďurďovič, from Senec, Slovakia. Alongside my studies in electrical engineering and programming in Bratislava, I design and build websites — solo, from the first idea to the last line.

I do all of it solo: design, frontend and backend. No team, no templates or page-builders — just reliable code that's fast and built to last.
